Configuring Well Test Using XML

The well test configuration is an XML structure that specifies the relationship between test facilities and associated wells, and the sequencing of actions to put a well into test mode, as well as other configuration options. The configuration is stored as part of a point and is referenced by the CygNet Well Test Windows Service, as well as the sample Canvas screens.

The well test configuration XML file is created when the sequence of actions is defined and saved in the Well Test Configuration screen in Canvas. The XML is then saved to a configuration point in the PNT.
